Audlem Locks No 7, Shropshire Union Canal, Cheshire

The narrow boat "Bolitho" is waiting to come out of Lock 7, just below Snows Bridge (from where the photograph was taken). The gate paddle, and both ground paddles are up, allowing water to enter the lock from the pound above. By the slight swirling of the water in the lock, I would say the gate will be ready to open in about one minute.
