High Bridge of Dee, Clatteringshaws
Built in 1789, the bridge is just down-river from the Clatteringshaws Dam. When the dam was built, the bridge was replaced by a new road bridge. The new bridge is so close to the old bridge that it is difficult to photograph the old bridge on its own. In fact a small section of the new bridge is in this photograph. The High Bridge of Dee is now considerably overgrown and a notice beside the bridge warns that the bridge is dangerous. Despite this, the bridge is a Category B Listed Building. Link
