Biological weathering on clifftop near Shooters Bottom
Biological weathering on clifftop near Shooters Bottom
This photo was taken by the clifftop on the eastern side of Shooters Bottom. Biological weathering, through rabbit activity, has loosened the soil and this has subsequently been removed by rain and deflation. These transportational processes are effectively halted when an armoured layer of rock is reached such as the one shown in the photo.
