Wall Barley (Hordeum murinum)
This grass is commonly found growing on waste grounds and bare patches in dry grasslands. The flowers, which can be seen in June and July, are as clingy as burdock burs, with its spikelets containing the flowers being positioned close to each other in rows, forming a rectangular flower head with spiky tufts.
