In early May Oxford's walls and quadrangles are very often draped with wisteria flowers: the city has a large number of mature plants.

Park Town is a small enclave of Regency-style villas and terraces that looks a little like a piece of Bath dropped into the middle of the predominantly Gothic-revival villas of North Oxford.
