Patcham Court Farm cottages, Patcham
Patcham like Preston is an old village (1000 residents in the Domesday Book) that has been swallowed up by the conurbation of Brighton and Hove. Much of its flint built village centre has remained and is listed. However, to the north there is the A23/A27 interchange and there are moves to demolish buildings opposite this cottage to build a new park and ride for Brighton city centre. This picture looks east with the entrance to Church Hill on the right.
