Small-flowered cranesbill (Geranium pusillum)
This cranesbill species is a small, almost prostrate plant growing to 10-30cm (4-12in) high > Link. It can be found growing on roadside verges and field margins, and in meadows and crop fields. It is common in England but rarer to the north and west. The tiny flowers are pink or a light purple colour and measure 4-10mm (0.15-0.4in) across. This plant can easily be confused with Dove’s foot cranesbill > Link.
