Pyecombe Street, Pyecombe
Pyecombe Street, Pyecombe
Taken from the footbridge over the A23 looking east. The village was built in a gap in the downs where a number of major roads and turnpikes met before heading south into Brighton. The widening of the A23 and the building of interchange junctions has effectively split the village into three different parts. The road leading to the right was the original main road.
