The rear 'garden' of the Oakford Social Club (which despite its name is actually a pub), in Reading town centre. Once upon a time this was the garden of the ICL Social Club (a real club, that), although the building to the left has extended over part of the original garden site. Even earlier than that, it was the back yard of Reading County Borough Education Office.
