The Judges' Lodgings was originally a town house. It later became judges' lodgings and is now a museum. Built circa 1625, incorporating structural timbers re-used from a timber-framed building and perhaps on earlier foundations. Extended and altered in 1675 and early again in the 19th century. Restored in 1975. Listed, grade I, with details at: LinkExternal link
In the forecourt is the Covell Cross erected in 1903 to mark the coronation of Edward VII. Listed, grade II, with details at: LinkExternal link
