The A337 at Brockis Hill, New Forest
The A337 at Brockis Hill, New Forest
The A337 runs for over 5km from Cadnam to Lyndhurst is a straight line, only deviating here to avoid the contours of Brockis Hill. The road has open forest either side and is fenced to prevent the commoners stock (ponies mainly) from wandering onto the busy road. Deer can still jump these fences, and can be a hazard when driving along here at night.
