taken 17 years ago, near to Yockenthwaite, North Yorkshire, England

Yockenthwaite Stone Circle
Yockenthwaite Stone Circle
A small (25' diameter) Bronze Age stone circle on the route of the Dales Way.

Current thinking is that the stones once formed the kerb of a burial cairn.
