Adder at Tresco in Churchland Lane
Adder at Tresco in Churchland Lane
This young adder (Vipera berus) had settled itself under the step below the French windows at Tresco in Churchland Lane. It was coaxed into a waste paper basket and released in the nearby ancient wood. Adders locally are found mainly in more heathy areas rather than gardens.
