SK9249 : The hill on Gorse Hill Lane

taken 7 years ago, near to Caythorpe, Lincolnshire, England

The hill on Gorse Hill Lane
The hill on Gorse Hill Lane
North-west of Caythorpe, Gorse Hill Lane drops into the Trent Valley ahead although the first major river reached is the Witham. As can be seen, there are good views across the valley, with the disused High Marnham Power Station on the River Trent particularly prominent. A few wild flowers brighten up the roadside.
