Situated in Cathedral Close BB1 5AA, this Cathedral Church of St Mary the Virgin with St Paul is the mother church of the Anglican Diocese of Blackburn which was created in 1926 when this parish church was raised to cathedral status. The statue of Queen Victoria can be seen to the left of the photo, whilst the "healing of the Nations" globe is on the East wall to the right.
