Course of old Railway, Bosley, Cheshire
The North Staffordshire Railway, finally closed by Dr. Beeching in the late 1960s, originally ran from North Rode to Leek and Uttoxeter. The parts that are now not returned to agriculture are used for recreational footpaths, and the steam railway in the Churnet Valley, which has plans for further development.
