The building to the north of Brimham Rocks was built in 1792 for Lord Grantley, but is now owned by the National Trust. It is grade 2 listed (list entry 1150543).

Some of the rocks that give the area its name are in the foreground.

Situated on a hill overlooking Summerbridge and Lower Nidderdale, Brimham Rocks are a series of fantastically shaped Millstone Grit outcrops, sculptured by erosion during the last ice age.
