SJ9136 : Wetmore Mill
Stone, Staffordshire, Great Britain

Wetmore Mill
One of the eleven water mills in the Moddershall Valley which ground flint for the local pottery industry (mixed with the clay, ground flint produced a whiter coloured material). Three such mills survive in this grid square - this one has been converted into a house but retains its waterwheel.
