Hailes church
The chancel, showing the fine East window. The glass in the trcaery is original; the nine apostles below indirectly came from the abbey, having first been installed in the church at Toddington in 1789. Wall paintings and a fine array of tiles complete the ancient picture. The abbey is well worth a visit, but this little building is the star of the show at Hailes.
