Sledmere Cross
Marvellous cross erected 1896-8 in the style of an Eleanor Cross, to the designs of Temple Moore, upgraded to grade I from grade II listing in 2016. Converted to a War Memorial in 1918 with designs by Sir Mark Sykes, with brass effigies manufactured and engraved by Gowthorpe and Sons of London.
