St. Ninian's Cave
St. Ninian's Cave
A small cave used, it is said by St Ninian as a retreat from Whithorn. Tenth and eleventh century crosses and artefact were in fact recovered from the site and are on display in Whithorn. The one time retreat has now become a shrine with many making the visit to the cave.
