Strelley Church and the Stones of Monks Way
Strelley Church and the Stones of Monks Way
It's hard to pass this way without taking a picture of this lovely view. A nearby notice explains that “The stones contained within this footpath lie on an ancient route which may date back to the 14th century. It is possible that the route linked Monasteries and provided access to Nottingham and the River Trent. These ancient stones are well worn and uneven so please take care when using the footpath”.
