The house on the corner of St. John's Street is Grenville House. Next door is Maple House. They used to be one building known as The Old Vicarage. Maple House is thought to have been the service wing. Both are Grade II listed buildings. Grenville House, possibly both, is 18th century but was remodelled by Richard Pace in 1804/5.
