Tain Picture House
Tain Picture House
A Category B listed former Town Hall [LinkExternal link], dating from 1874-76. Converted for use as a Cinema in the 1920s, and has had various names over the years [LinkExternal link].
The Highland Council's vision announced in 2015 for redevelopment of Tain includes transforming the Old Picture House into a cinema, theatre and arts hub. Signs on the outside refer to the Tain Picture House Restoration Trust and Historic Scotland funding, but these appear to be from a previous attempt to restore the building.
