Leighton Buzzard Railway - Woto in Leedon Loop
Leighton Buzzard Railway - Woto in Leedon Loop
A passing loop that was being heavily used on a gala day. The Locomotive belongs to Alan Keef of Ross on Wye and is an 0-4-0ST by W G Bagnall and supplied to British Insulated Callenders Cables Ltd in 1924. It is named after two brothers - William Octavious and Thomas Octavious. As built she was 3' 6" gauge but Alan Keep regauged her to a more useful 2' - requiring major surgery. The headboard celebrates 50 years of the Narrow Gauge Railway Society.
