Proteus Training Camp
Proteus Training Camp
The Proteus army training camp in Thoresby Park was established in 1942. More recently it was used for training police cadets. It is now closed and abandoned. However, it seems to have found a new lease of life as a location for war gaming activities where the large number of intact buildings and the surrounding woodland are ideal.
