Site of medieval chapel, Hilton of Cadboll
The mounds are the site of a medieval chapel and burial ground that was probably built in the 13th century, but it may have been the site of an earlier Pictish chapel, possibly associated with the Hilton of Cadboll cross slab [Link] found nearby. The site is a scheduled monument [LinkExternal link].
