St John the Baptist, Lower Strensham
St John the Baptist, Lower Strensham
The chancel of this remarkable redundant church, now safely in the hands of the Churches Conservation Trust, has fine examples of funerary art from the 14th to the 20th centuries. This exquisite tablet on the North wall, close to the altar, is in memory of Sir Charles Trubshaw Withers, who died in 1804.
