Leeds Owls in Millennium Square - The Leeds Owl Trail (1)
There are several owls around the Civic Hall that feature in the Leeds Owl Trail. 6 of them are gilded. 2 gilded owls are on the top of the Civic Hall spires, forming part of the original design from 1933. There are 4 gilded owls on pillars, dating from 2000, which were based on the originals and cast in bronze.
This owl stands to the right of the Civic Hall in Millennium Square.

Leeds Owl Trail
Owls form part of the coat of arms of the City of Leeds, and feature on a number of buildings around the city centre. The Leeds Owl trail was put together as a way of experiencing the city centre and its history. Details can be seen at Link, and a leaflet featuring photos of all the owls and a map is available at various places around the city such as libraries and information centres.
My version has photos of most of the 25, plus a couple of others that I found while following the trail. I've kept to the same numbering.
