Compton Martin village hall
The village hall (formally a spinney) was bought from Fredrick Vowles by Mrs Charles Hill in 1921 for £17 and then given to the village in 1927; it has recently been treated to an extension. In the run-up, the fund-raising effort displayed a 'thermometer' style board on the hall to indicate the accumulated money.

On Saturday 19 September, 2015, Compton Martin Village Hall was officially reopened by District Councellor Victor Pritchard following the recent building works that now provide a new entrance with disabled ramps and new toilets. The Opening Ceremony was attended by about 50 people including local MP Jacob Rees-Mogg.
