Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway - Ravenglass Station
The Ravenglass & Eskdale (known colloquially as the 'Ratty') was a mineral railway that was long ago regauged as a tourist attraction. The locomotives are more by way of large models that typical narrow gauge workhorses but are nonetheless powerful and impressive machines. This is River Mite - a 2-8-2 built by Clarksons of York in 1967 utilising a steam tender from one of the railway's other engines. It is 22' long.
