Southern 100 motorcycle road race
Southern 100 motorcycle road race
The Isle of Man is known throughout the world for the TT motorcycle races, but
amongst the biking fraternity it is also known for the very popular Southern 100 races held on the Billown circuit. These were first held in 1955.
This picture shows the clubhouse on the right and up the road the bikes come down.It has an almost desolate feel now, but when the races are on, the atmosphere is electric!
