The OS have recently decided to revert to solely Gaelic names for places in the Western Isles. This loch is marked as Loch Tangasdail on the new maps, but as "Loch Tangusdale (sic) or Loch St Clair" in my 1993 edition. Locals I spoke to said they called it Loch St Clair
