Useless Turnstile
Useless Turnstile
The Park bit of the Ditton Park Estate is open to the public but the buildings are in business use and, on this side at least, are defended by the original moat and a more recent substantial fence.
For some reason they put this turnstile in just here, but as you see nobody uses it at the moment. Perhaps they plan to open a bit more of the gardens at some stage. What you can see of the moat and the Manor House looks like it might be interesting.
