Iron Bridge
Iron Bridge
The disused bridge over the River Aire was originally part of a line from Castleford to Garforth, where it joined the York-Leeds route. The first couple of miles remained operational until 1993, most recently carrying coal trains from Allerton Bywater colliery and St. Aidan's opencast site.
