Bude Castle
Bude Castle
House built in 1830 for doctor, engineer, inventor, chemist and philanthropist Sir Goldsworthy Gurney. An innovative feature was that it was built on a concrete raft, allowing it to be built on the sand dunes. Now a heritage centre. Grade II listed - see LinkExternal link.
