Lookout
Lookout
The lookout on the headland of Willapark, overlooking the entrance to Boscastle Harbour. Now operated by the National Coastwatch Institution, it was originally built in the early 19th Century by local landowner Thomas Rickard Avery. Later it was leased to the Board of Trade for watching out for smugglers before being used as a coastguard station until the 1970s.
