Wortley Top Forge - Pollit & Wigzell engine
This is a Pollit & Wigzell patent three rod engine with the high pressure and low pressure cylinders split to show the LP piston and one of its two rods passing alongside the HP cylinder. This engine is called Gladstone and came from a mill in Huddersfield. Sadly, its bedplate and flywheel were scrapped so it's incomplete. It has been re-erected and painted in a tidy display area but it is acknowledged that it will never be a runner.
