Dating originally from the late 19th Century, it was extended in 1929-33 with the addition of King Arthur's Great Exhibition Hall, funded by former London businessman and King Arthur enthusiast Frederick Thomas Glasscock who had founded the Fellowship Of The Knights Of the Round Table Of King Arthur in 1927.
