Cliffs at Hole Beach
Cliffs at Hole Beach
Looking north-west towards Penhallic Point. On the north side of Hole Beach there are several small slate mines working into the cliff side, like the hole seen in this picture. Strong points would be built into the cliff face for cradles and buckets to lower the slate down the cliff face.
