SE0839 : Altar Lane, bridleway section

taken 6 years ago, near to Harden, Bradford, England

Altar Lane, bridleway section
Altar Lane, bridleway section
This oddly-titled road takes its name from the "Druid's Altar" nearby (a fanciful name for a natural rock formation) SE0939 : Druids' Altar.

Unlike the section further west SE0739 : Altar Lane this section along the northern edge of the St Ives Estate is closed to motor vehicles. It looks as though an avenue of trees has been planted, maybe about twenty years earlier judging from their size now.
