Parking at Burnham Overy Staithe
To be avoided on spring high tides, at other times provides a large area for parking. Spring tides here are around 6-8ish am and pm so normally OK to park during the day (please don't quote me on that in an insurance claim though...). See

Spring tides are always at the same time of day in a given place as they are when the lunar and solar tides are in phase. The difference from one to the next is therefore the lowest common multiple of the lunar tidal period (12 hours 25 minutes) and the solar tidal period (12 hours). This has to be a multiple of 12 hours so the next one is at the same time of day. This time varies from place to place depending on the local amphidromic system.
