Dura Den and the Ceres Burn
Dura Den and the Ceres Burn
Dura Den is a small gorge running north south between Pitscottie in the south and Kemback in the north. The Ceres Burn drops around 40 mts over the 2km length of the gorge and once powered many flax mills. The last working mill made wood flour. That mill burnt down and closed in the 1950/60 and now the Den contains old mill ruins and a few private homes.
