Park View
Built by the pioneer of the Water Cure, Dr Wilson, in 1845 as the first purpose built hydropathic establishment in Britain. This later became the County Hotel and grew two wings, then a YMCA hostel (Park View Hostel) for young scientists and apprentices at the radar establishment. Now a set of apartments.
