Marshall's Mill, Marshall Street
Marshall, with the technical help of Matthew Murray, developed effective methods of spinning flax. This was his second mill, built in 1817 (the gabled section) expanded in 1827 and 1830 (the nearer range). Fortunately still in occupation as industrial units. Listed Grade II*.
