SK0584 : Mount Famine from South Head

near to Chinley Head, Derbyshire, Great Britain

Mount Famine from South Head
Mount Famine from South Head
In contrast to its featureless dip slope to the west (see SK0584 : Vorposten and Mount Famine), the eastern scarp of Mount Famine is quite steep and craggy, and the ridge makes a good walk. Viewpoint is the summit of South Head (SK061845) looking northwest.
