Well, I think they call themselves M&S now.

This shop was purpose built for Budgens, who failed to make a profit selling overpriced food. It stood empty for a while, and then the Co-op took it over, and tried to sell overpriced food. A decade later they too gave up the struggle and it stood empty for another year. (TF0920 : Empty Shop)

Now M&S have taken two-thirds of it and are intending to sell food that is far more overpriced than either. It was heaving when it opened, but I wonder what will happen over the next decade.
