Mast for amateur radio beacons and repeater
Mast for amateur radio beacons and repeater
There are a number of communications masts in this square. Almost all are commercial in nature but this one is a little different. This is the mast for several amateur radio services including a number of HF propagation beacons (GB3MCB), a repeater operating on the 2 metre band (GB3NC) which can be heard throughout much of the Duchy. There is also a dual mode analog/digital repeater (GB3HB) in the 70cm band and an amateur fast scan television repeater (GB3NQ).

The mast is situated on land owned by Littlejohns China Clay Works.
