The parish church of St. Peter is an ancient edifice of stone, in the Norman, Early English and Perpendicular styles, consisting of a Norman nave, an Early English chancel, and a later south aisle and porch. A fine embattled western tower of Perpendicular date, 96 feet in height, with pinnacles was built in the 15th century and contains a clock and a peal of 6 bells.
