Entrance to Wooson's Hill Inclosure
Wooson's Hill was inclosed for forestry use in 1817. This is the southern entrance to the inclosure, showing the original woodbank on the right, which marks the boundary. Mixture of broadleaved hardwoods, including a lot of Sweet Chestnut and Beech, with areas of conifer.
